Frequently mis-identified as Polaire models, the design for Fujiama table lighters was patented by Gaston Gaubert in 1936. Gaubert manufactured lift arm table lighters in a variety of shapes and sizes using the Fujiama and L'Aquilon brand names. Fujiama brand pocket models were also produced. (EB)
